Chapter 14
PINEAPPLES

Decorative as well as delightful, the pineapple is the all-American favorite design, and we have assembled here for your delectation a very exciting collection. Here is a tablecloth that will make a memorable setting for important dinner occasions, a choice of luncheon cloths to provide table talk for your guests, a variety of centerpieces and doilies to set off a favorite bowl of flowers, a rare lamp, a gleaming tea service . . . there is an unusually handsome chair set, several runners and — to round out the collection — two vanity sets for your bedroom. It is going to be difficult to make a choice among all these pineapple designs.
